Why Can’t We Vote on Drilling Pelosi?

Posted on August 4, 2008

Watch this weasle squirm but never give an honest answer. Priceless. America is tired of the excuse that drilling will have no immediate impact. It will. Besides, whats wrong with implementing long term solutions?

Since the whole country didn’t choose this….this….woman, to lead, isn’t there some way we can send her packing??? I realize the Dhimmicrats are the majority, and they picked her, but she is not doing the Congress or the country a bit of good. Matter of fact, I can’t remember a worse Speaker in my 50 some odd years.

Isn’t there any such thing as a national recall? :?

Kate, for now there is this. If enough people sign it who knows where it may lead.

Okay, this one’s just begging for it…

“Because drilling Pelosi is probably illegal”…

On a more serious note, I just don’t understand why the Dems are committing suicide on the issue…

Because Americans are into immediate gratification. They can’t stick with any one thing for too long; and they want immediate fixes to problems.

Long term solutions would be great; but our politicians are not in office long enough to see any of them through.

The Islamofascists, as an example, fully understand that they need to commit to their cause over generations.

But where th WoT is concerned, a lot of Americans now are tired of it and want to change the channel.

Americans and their mindset of immediate gratification is also what has us in so much credit card debt.

The big picture is very worrying.

And on drilling – I don’t know why everyone is so hysterical about it – what we should be looking at is the whole picture and building more refineries, too.

Other than being psychologically helpful and possible a short term speculative help for prices, what does getting 1-2% of our daily usage 7-10 years from now actually accomplish?

I don’t know where you get your numbers from Bob, but if we drill here enough we can stop depending on Arab countries for our oil and get independency.
