Just a follow-up with a bit more information.

The Labor Day/Mulim Holiday switch was a union demand when negotiating their new contract, not an idea warmly embraced by the company. And, by the way, the non-union employees at the plant are not affected, and still get Labor Day off.

This is something that needs to be taken up with union if you have a problem with it, not Tyson.

If you did not know , Tyson did, but Christians do not have one.

and before others can be made, do they not need to be address by the ” WE THE PEOPLE” before they are even run through the House and Senate??

Does Don Tyson now rule Americas Nation Day System, he desides what day to remove and what kind of day will takes its place.
Who authorize him,and by what authority??
He can out of his own Company power give them a day if he wants, but dang it, he can’t legally take away a NATIONAL DAY Already established..
And futher more if he does give them a day, then he needs also to recognize a day for Christians,,and BTW, he has recognixe one religion over another by building them a prayer room, I think that is unconstitutional , unAmerican, right down dirty!!!
He can NOT legally change our National Days, none of them.
Nooo Way, and he must be stopped.

It’s interesting that the needs of the minority must be protected…until they become a majority in a situation, then they can vote and crap over everybody else’s needs, even if those needs are well grounded in cultural tradition.

Well, if I had been eating Tyson products, I would stop immediately. But, I have made a point for years to avoid any Tyson products, including other food items that contain Tyson products.

Those poor non-Muslims at the Tyson plant. I wonder if the Muslims are demanding foot cleaning facilities, and prayer areas for the several daily prayers required. I expect immigrants to maintain their culture at home if desired, but do NOT attempt to change the host culture to suit that which you fled. I will not ever buy any Tyson products. Sorry if that impacts some American workers, but I cannot support any companies that cave in to Muslims.
