This is EgyptAir – It is owned and operated by Egypt, a Muslim nation. All ticketholders know this before they board the flight. I have no problems with this.

If Delta/Northwest or American Airlines played a prayer of any sort — Then we have an issue.

But a question just occurred to me: Was this a cross-ticketed flight? ie: Delta and Air France jointly operate flights.

If, hypothetically, this were Air Vatican, I’d have no problem with their runny of a rosary tape — no matter how many heretics and infidels were on the plane.

I therefore have no problem with the official airline of a Muslim nation running a Muslim prayer, regardless of how many kaffirs are on board.

And in either case, I would be outraged if any court attempted to interfere with the decision of the airline.

They do the same thing on Saudi Arabian Airlines along with indicating where mecca is in relation to the plane during the flight.
