EgyptAir Subjects Passengers to Islamic Prayer

Posted on July 23, 2008

Let me give you a hypothetical situation.

You board a flight for New York someplace in Europe. The passenger list is a mix of Christians, atheists, muslims and Jews and over the loud speaker comes a prayer while a picture of the Vatican flickers on the overhead screens. Who would complain? The Jews? Most likely not, except for the lapsed Israel hating kind that infest New York, so maybe some of them would. The atheists? Maybe in passing while stating authoritatively that there is no God. I bet they’re gonna feel like fools on judgment day, huh? The muslims? You betcha buddy.

But let Egyptair play a muslim travel prayer while showing a picture of a mosque and all is well in dhimmi land. Nobody, as far as I can tell, lodged one complaint to the airline. Most likely because complaining about all things muslim is almost taboo, especially when you are heading to the nest of vipers called the Middle East.

If an airline tried to play a Christian prayer at the start of a flight the left would be up in arms screaming religious discrimination. The ACLU might even join in that fight by suing the airlines on behalf of an offended muslim passenger. I have been on an offensive roll this week, with posts such as this, this, and this just rolling away from my keyboard like the caterwauling cadence of the muzzie call to supplication rolling through the streets of Dearborn in the morning and I believe I am going to continue that streak with my very own prayer in this post;

Dear Lord,
We come before you to ask your guidance in these trying times. We know there is but One God and Your command is to love our neighbors as ourselves. On all sides are we assaulted by those who claim to work in your name but spread evil and hatred by lies and the sword. We ask, Oh Lord, that you turn their hearts so they may know the path of righteousness and grace and they may walk in peace with You, Lord. If their hearts are not turned, Oh Lord, we humbly ask You to turn their ankles, so we may know them by their limp.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen.

They do the same thing on Saudi Arabian Airlines along with indicating where mecca is in relation to the plane during the flight.

That is because the people that are complaining about Christianity are Christophobes. Irrational. Idiotic. Ungrateful. There would be no USA without Christianity and there would be no Europe without USA.

These Christophobes have a hell of a nerve!

If, hypothetically, this were Air Vatican, I’d have no problem with their runny of a rosary tape — no matter how many heretics and infidels were on the plane.

I therefore have no problem with the official airline of a Muslim nation running a Muslim prayer, regardless of how many kaffirs are on board.

And in either case, I would be outraged if any court attempted to interfere with the decision of the airline.

Gotta agree with Rhymes here. Or, I should just say, I really don’t care about this.

“lapsed Israel hating kind that infest New York”

What does that mean? I’ve met some Ultra-Orthodoxed Jews (Brooklyn NY) who don’t believe in Israel. Are they the self hating kind? Nope, they still read the Talmoud, like Death Cult followers read the Koran. And even the most Leftist of Leftist Jews support Israel. More So than the the US. Which, I find to be an act of Treason.

This is EgyptAir – It is owned and operated by Egypt, a Muslim nation. All ticketholders know this before they board the flight. I have no problems with this.

If Delta/Northwest or American Airlines played a prayer of any sort — Then we have an issue.

But a question just occurred to me: Was this a cross-ticketed flight? ie: Delta and Air France jointly operate flights.

So if we get rid of the ACLU, then Egyptair will stop Islamic prayers? So what.

Doesn’t bother me in the least. I’m a minority on that flight…. I can quietly say my hail mary and call it good.
