I disagree that Mike Savage is supporting our conservative movement. He is only driving away people from conservative ideals. The extremism that he supports is hateful and angry. Give me a level headed public figure, and you will see people rally around him. I would say Mike Savage has done more to damage the right. He is not an assest when he makes statements that divide our base.

And, no he wasn’t talking about health care fraud. That is what he said to back pedal. He told me to tell my children (who can’t speak) to stop being idiot’s, morons, and brats. He is effectively abusing children, and adding to the unfortunatley to common opinion that parents cause autism.

Scott, maybe if YOU had read, heard and opened your eyes and ears, you would’ve noticed that Michael Weiner (Savage) attacked the children who suffer autism DIRECTLY.

Did he not call them brats?

Did he not call them putzes (try finding the definition of PUTZ, a Yiddish insult)?

Did he not call them screaming idiots?

Did he not questioned the manhood of the children who suffer autism and who are mostly male (act like a man, he said)?

Don’t fool yourself, Scott. And don’t even try fooling everyone else. Mr. Michael Weiner (Savage) ATTACKED THE KIDS WITH AUTISM. Make no mistake about it.

If he wanted to make a commentary about the corrupt medical professionals, he should’ve attacked them directly.

But instead, he attacked the children WHO CAN’T DEFEND THEMSELVES AND CANNOT BE BLAMED FOR EITHER BEING MISDIAGNOSED (as Savage claims) OR BEING VICTIMS OF A PROVEN BRAIN DISORDER (as everyone who is well informed knows as being fact).

So please, please stop trying to defend Mr. Weiner. I know that he represents your deep feelings on several political/moral issues. But there is absolutely no defense possible for attacking and insulting children. No excuse whatsoever. NONE.

Maybe if you continued reading what was said on that page you’d realize he’s attacking the fakers and corrupt medical professionals.

This is what is so desperately wrong with America today, no one can say anything anymore without people calling for their heads, freedom of speech is dead in America. Let me ask you do make such a big deal when low lifes like Howard Stern ridicule handicapped or disabled people on a regular basis? But go ahead and shoot yourself in the foot because you’ll find no bigger supporter of the military in the media than Michael Savage.

I have two autistic children. My wonderful wife has supported them during three of my recent combat tours. I have volunteered and fought for the “freedoms” that Mr. Savage will quickly use to defend his statements. What I find ironic is that Mr. Savage will hide behind freedom of speech to attack those who can not speak for themselves.

Nothing is more painful than being attacked (or having your child attacked) by the community for something that is beyond their control. Frequently we come face to face with neighbors who blame autism on “our poor parenting”. What is most painful are the moments when that hatred is directed towards my children. There is a misconception that autistic children do not understand what is happening to them. Nothing can be farther from the truth. They know they are different and it pains them. My son has come home crying from school because he recognizes, hears, and understands the hateful words of others.

Companies should think twice about putting money into radio stations that spread such hatred. Any company interested in retail should realize that 1 in 150 children are autistic, and that adds up to alot of loving parents and caregivers who will turn against Mike Savage’s supporters.
