There plight is NEVER talked about. It's always about the Israelis, Sunnis, and Shiats. Never about the oldest Catholic community in the World. One Chaldean told a group of us, that it might have been bad under Saddam, it is even worse with the new Iraqi Government. And what do we hear from Evagelical preachers in America? Bomb, Bomb, and more Bomb. "We must protect Israel, and God's Chosen". You never here of them talking about helping out their fellow Christians. It's disgusting. Holy Mother Chruch has been doing a lot to help with their rebuilding of the churches that had been standing for hundreds of year (weren't bothered by Saddam). So, there are glimers of hope. And Syria to their credit, which is 40% Cathlolic, has been taking a lot of them in. Granted it's an issue for them, but the churches in that country have been giving a helping hand to there FELLOW CHRISTIAN brothers and sisters.
