There is NOTHING one can possibly argue with in this piece. HORSE SENSE is kinda like that, if you've noticed.

This requirement for "personal experience" of something before acknowledging its existence is fraught with perils. That is why Liberals and leftists spend so much time and energy EMOTING. And here they are preaching to ME about "energy efficiency" and "energy conservation". Walking your talk starts HERE...

Has anyone else noticed the Liberal/Left's apparent inability to read anything longer than a slogan? This is also reflected in the individual liberal/Leftist's inability to debate - in the traditional, moderated manner - their opponents. They launch into name-calling and bald accusation almost immediately. As social company, they are intellectually boring in the extreme...

If William Buckley had been semi-literate, maybe he, too, would have been part of the Liberal/Left. But Bill could READ, REMEMBER, ASSOCIATE, CONNECT DOTS, and THINK THINGS THROUGH. These, I have noted, tend to characterize the Conservative/Right.

This qualitative difference is also reflected in media. The Liberal/Left media's loosey-goosey editorial standards "accommodate" all manner of nutbar perspectives with the same ersatz academic gravitas. It CAN be REALLY REALLY FUNNY.

On the other hand, the Conservative media tends towards the more traditional, academically researched, empirical arguments that follow classic Western reason and logic. Naturally, these are dismissed as "boring" but the placard-waving Liberal/Left. Revealing, no?

Let's face it. In light of the lack of really funny comedians and the recent death of the brilliant George Carlin, there is only ONE conclusion possible.

GOD created the Liberal/Left to keep the Conservative/Right amused during "dry spells" on the Comedy Circuit. It's THAT simple!

This, too, shall pass....

Wonderful article. I obviously agree with everything. Liberals are good at fighting other liberals. But when it comes to leading us through the perilous world we all live in, they are actually worse than useless; they add to the dangers by denying the existence of our enemies.

The line uttered by the character played by Charles Bronson in the first "Death Wish" movie says it all: "A conservative is a liberal who's been mugged."
