There are a great many specialty Barbie’s sold to adults – such as Louis Vitton Barbie and ‘Scarlet O’Hara’ Barbie – and this is in that genre.

A great many adult women collect both comic art and/or doll art. They are the ones who will buy this doll. (Personally, I am waiting for Batgirl Barbie- plus Nightwing Ken- but that is just me.

PS: THe fishnets? Those have been part of the ‘Black Canary’ costume since the 1940’s. (I suspect that is because in the flatpress days fishnets were easier to ink than nylons.)

PPS: I dressed as BC and Zantarra ( another fishnet-wearing heroine) though much of my fan-girl teen years. It didn’t make me any less a lady.
