Regarding the first video: I don’t see what the problem is. He plans to get our troops out of Iraq within about a year, but acknowledges that we may need to adjust that timetable if circumstances change. I think that’s a very mature perspective.

I definitely like it when politicians are called out on “flip-flopping”, but where have you covered McCain’s waffling on issues? Haven’t been able to find a single mention.

This “becca” is a plant, a fanatical leftist posting here. “think that’s a very mature perspective” – Yeah, right. You loser. It is NOT “mature” when you become the nominee saying you will do one thing for months, then you change once you got the nomination. This guy is a flip-flopper liberal scum.

Hi Jason! I’m actually not a plant, although I do consider myself to be a liberal and an Obama supporter. A conservative friend and I are exchanging blog links in an attempt to understand one anothers’ positions. I came across this post and was legitimately confused as to how this speech constitutes a significant policy change- Obama is still supporting a relatively quick withdrawl from Iraq, as long as it is safe to do so. Care to help me out here?
