All it is, is another Government hand out. Regardless if it has anything to do with "faith". The problem is here, is when you start getting Federal dollars, you are looking for ways to get more of it. It's worse than herion addiction. And as a Conservative, we should be fighting this tooth and nail. But, I understand the need to stick up for them, from a Christian point of view. So for Sen. BO, to want to make these programs even bigger, scares me more when they were first intruduced. And to be honest, I get a bit nervous when the Government and faith start really colliding. It my same uneasiness when I see the Federal Government bail-out a company. It shouldn't be like that. Another thing to remember TR, the majrotiy of Evangelicals up until 1980 voted Democrat under the banner of "Social Justice". Conservative or not, groups love Federal Dollars, because as Ronald Reagan use to say "the only thing that comes close to eternal life on Earth, is a Government Program".
