Google Shuts Down Anti-Obama Sites on its Blogger Platform

Update: Perhaps it isn’t google, but Obamaniacs taking advantage of google’s faulty sytem. A commenter explains:
The problem with blogger is that a group of people with an ax to grind can report any blog as spam and after enough complaints, it’s automatically suspended until a real live human being can get around to examining it. If enough complaints are registered with blogger, you might get a response within 5 days but it takes a concerted effort. This is a huge problem with blogger and something google needs to get a handle on.
Regardless who is at fault, this shutting down of free speech is disturbing.

It looks like Google has officially joined the Barack Obama campaign and decided that its contribution would be to shut down any blog on the Google owned Blogspot.com blogging system that has an anti-Obama message. Yes, it sure seems that Google has begun to go through its many thousands of blogs to lock out the owners of anti-Obama blogs so that the noObama message is effectively squelched. Thus far, Google has terminated the access by blog owners to 7 such sites and the list may be growing. Boy, it must be nice for Barack Obama to have an ally powerful enough to silence his opponents like that!
It isn’t just conservative sites that Google’s Blogger platform is eliminating. For instance, www.comealongway.blogspot.com has been frozen and this one is a Hillary supporting site. The operator of Come a Long Way has a mirror site off the Blogspot platform and has today posted this notice:
I used to have a happy internet home on Blogger: www.comealongway.blogspot.com. Then on Wednesday night, June 25, I received the following e-mail:
Dear Blogger user,
This is a message from the Blogger team.
Your blog, at http://comealongway.blogspot.com/, has been identified as a potential spam blog. You will not be able to publish posts to your blog until we review your site and confirm that it is not a spam blog.

It turns out that there is an interesting pattern where it concerns the blogs that Google’s Blogspot team have summarily locked down on their service. They all belong to the Just Say No Deal coalition, a group of blogs that are standing against the Obama campaign. It seems the largest portion of these blogs are Hillary supporting blogs, too.
All I can say is, WOW! If Google is willing to abuse its power like this even against fellow leftists, what does it plan against conservatives, the folks Google hates even more!?

The problem with blogger is that a group of people with an ax to grind can report any blog as spam and after enough complaints, it’s automatically suspended until a real live human being can get around to examining it. If enough complaints are registered with blogger, you might get a response within 5 days but it takes a concerted effort. This is a huge problem with blogger and something google needs to get a handle on.
Man, I cannot believe that my main blog hasn’t been shut down, if Blogger is really doing that just because of an anti-Barry message. To further the cause, I started a new blog on Blogger. If anyone wants the keys, just leave me a comment on the one post there or e-mail me at the address on my main blog linked above, and I will give you access. Personally, I could not care less what is posted there, by anyone.

Willing to bet that some rabid obama supporters have carried out a concerted effort to flag blogs that aren’t in their interests…
This isn’t Google’s fault, so blaming them is barking up the wrong tree.
this happened to my blog to a while back
it’s the result of someone complaining to blogger and not necessarily done by the pinkos at blogger/google.
in a day it was fixed - as soon as i did some thingy-thing at blogger to simply prove i was a real person: OH YEAH: I had to fill out one of those number/letter JPEG things.
it was simple.
if this is more than that then we should organize a campaign to get all of us off of blogger.
please let us know if this is more than what i went thru.

Oh, come on. If it isn’t the gummint shutting down the free speech, why is it disturbing?
The other thing is that the “Flag Blog” button is right next to the “Next Blog” button. I have actually flagged a blog mistakenly when just trolling for new reads. It is odd that that situation would happen at a higher rate on I Hate Barry Blogs more than others though.

In draft.blogger.com, they have added a new feature that will allow you to export your blog as an XML file.
I plan on doing this, then setting up an Alpha Site on my own domain that will mirror everything I post on Blogger…then when, or if, Blogger shuts me down (It has happened once when I posted on the activities of local Pagans…I can go on posting on my Alpha Site.
I plan to do some heavy anti-Obama stuff in the weeks leading up to the convention, then the election.
If the Obamamaniacs were shutting down blogs…why haven’t they hit Rezko Watch or Obama Watch?
These guys get national coverage, and most of the other credible anti-Obama stuff comes from those two sites.
Google is pretty well known for taking no action against abusers–actual abusers.
They allow (encourage) spam, spammers and any left-of-Trotsky blog.
I’ve got plenty of anti-Obama posts on my LEAVWORLD: GRAFFITI POLITTI blog. I guess no one from the nutty left is reading them, yet. I’ll be waiting for my notice.

The opposition wanting to stifle debate and being unopen to opposing viewpoints is not disturbing? I understand it isn’t AS disturbing as a powerful company doing so, but still…..

I must be some kinda nobody because, not only do I regularly poke fun, and deride the obamanator, I frequently trash googlag ~ the world’s chief disinformation scrubber ~ as a fascist, anti-American organization that has never met a brutal dictatorship, nor its money, that it didn’t like.

These shutting down of anti-Obama blogs/sites is coming directly from Obama’s camp and anyone who is naive enough to think otherwise has a serious reality problem. This is indicative of his entire campaign. This political fraud who espouses politics of hope and change is subtext for “stop all dissent againt Obama and use race to prevent others from exposing the truth about this deceptive man.” This must stop NOW. He is already acting like King Obama.
If Regnell or Jane S have a link where Obama folks are bragging, I’d love to see it.
Can anyone post a link to the Obama site where the bragging is going on. Falsy reporting blogs by Obama supporters shoud make a nice post.
Be sure to save screen shots. The Obama site removes stuff. Like when you find Commies that have been given awards by China and so forth. Gateway Pundt has been following that one.
Looked like junk spam blogs to me. Most of those blogs on blogger are so I’m all for them taking them all down. Less trash to sift through.
