It is not about whether they would change their vote choice, it is all about disenfranchising them by way of ridicule, one of the propaganda tools of choice of the American Left since the late '40s at least.

Roger makes the point above very well, actually.

"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain... "

Barack Obama is a Muslim...

...has got to be one of the stupidest things out there on the Internet today. Even worse is the hysteria about it. Does anyone think that the Neanderthals who believe that garbage would vote for Obama if they discovered that he wasn't a Muslim?...

Wow. First of all, to the main issue -- Whether or not Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim. I always found it a very convincing argument that if you are born a Muslim to a Muslim father and you attend a Muslim madrassa, you are indeed a Muslim. Further,we have been informed by reliable sources that a Muslim cannot repudiate his Muslim status; if he attempts to leave Islam for some other religion, he automatically becomes an apostate. And the fate of an apostate is well known.

Secondly, does merely pointing this out somehow constitute some form of slander? If demonstrating that technically someone may still be a Muslim, even if they have subsequently embraced a different religion is slanderous, then what does this say about Islam?

As anyone who posts at GOP Hub can attest, Andy Martin is, I would agree, one of the most over-the-top self-promoters on the web, to a degree that is at times almost comical.

Additionally, in my experience I have found that people who feel that it is necessary to preface their statements with an exhaustive list of their credentials and accomplishments seldom have a very strong argument. It's as though a heavily weighted opening will somehow make up for a light-weight summation.

Finally, I think Barack Obama is a horrendous disaster in the making. Whether or not he is technically a Muslim, I think that there's enough evidence out there to make his support of the Islamist cause more than a little suspect, and I have written extensively about this.
I wonder, is this sufficient grounds for my being added to WAPO's Enemies List?
