Obama clearly has a distorted view of Scripture and fails to consider the whole counsel of God. This is indeed troubling because Hitler had a distored view of scripture too and history bears witness to the horrific consequences of his ideas. As for the “A Citizen’s” attack on Dobson, it never ceases to amaze me that he, and many like him, who quote a verse here and a verse there in an attempt to support their worldview and erroneous arguments have never really read the Bible in its entirety and have no understanding of Redemptive History. More importantly, they do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Without the Holy Spirit they can never understand the truth of God’s Word. May the Lord have mercy upon them and grant them true repentance.

Obama reveals his Biblical ignorance with comments like his shellfish one. The shellfish argument is full of holes but is appealing to many because so few bother to read the passages in context. I encourage you to read flaws of the shellfish argument.
