Weather the “The Onion” realize it or not, this is a perfect parody of Judaical activism. If Judges don’t take the constitution seriously, what’s to stop them from making really stupid legal decisions based on anything they want? It doesn’t matter weather or not you support the death penalty, if justices came to this conclusion based on this type of thinking, unless your some kind of idiot, you’d be shocked. Wouldn’t you?
