Three Women Who Might Be McCain’s VP
Posted on June 22, 2008
Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, former HP CEO Carly Fiorina, and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
If he wants to grab those Hillary voters choosing one of these three women might be his best bet. They are also all more than qualified.

I’ve always thought that McCain should put a woman on the ticket. It would energize women to vote for him, especially Hillary supporters many of whom are still angry at Obama and the DNC.
It might also force Obama’s hand and make him seriously consider a woman.
In which case history would be made either way around….as unimportant as that is, it would be significant.
On the flip side, my wife brought up the valid point that McCain does not want to make it look like he is pandering… Personally, I am voting for him choosing a female VP (especially given he has mentioned Bloomberg in the past), but there are pros and cons either way.
I can see it all now, Alaska Gov Sarah Palin’s husband, Todd, introducing Sarah as the next Vice President of the United States at the Republican National Convention later this summer, to the tune of Shania Twain’s “She’s Not Just a Pretty Face”.
Here it is:

Just imagine!!! (Dems, eat your heart out)
A commenter on another post says it much better than I can:
“They say McCain reads the blogs, so here goes —
Senator McCain- Don’t let the campaign kibbitzers muddle things up.
First and foremost, Sarah Palin shares your values. She killed the bridge to nowhere. Need we say more?
As for the politics, Sarah Palin transcends geography. Her constituency, like yours, goes beyond state lines.
She will get your ticket access to voters all over the country based on who she is and what she stands for. Because she’s young, a woman, a mother with young kids, she will grab media attention more than any other potential candidate.
Gov. Palin also has a son in the active duty military. You have very wisely taken your son’s service in Iraq off the table as a campaign talking point. That is and should be respected. But others can talk about it and reflect on what it means.
A McCain-Palin administration would be the first in memory which has family members in uniform during wartime from both the President and Vice President. That would be a powerful statement as to the importance of national service, especially in uniform.
Most importantly, any Vice President should be ready to step up and serve in the event she is needed. Frankly, who is really ever ready? Gov. Palin is as ready as anybody, she is a quick learner, and in her public career has exhibited the courage and decisiveness needed for a great leader.
Godspeed to you in your campaign and in making this important decision.”
Here’s my thoughts. (Oh no, not him again)
Sen Hutchinson, is nothing but a Open Borders North American Union worshipper. Look up the Merida Initiative, she is all in favor of it.
Carly, is another one just like the Sen.
Gov. Palin on the other hand is just about the most Libertarian/States Rights Gov. we have in America. Politicaly, she doesn’t agree with McAmnesty around 80% of the time. She’s against the Real ID act (God bless her)the Patriot Act (another God bless her),Illegal Immigration, and pretty much wants the Federal Government out of her state. She wouldn’t work for McAmnesty one bit.
Three people come to mind for McAmnesty. Ex-Gov Huckabee. Ex-Gov Romney (the Bush Folks are pushing for him, believe me they are) and the surprise to the fold, is Hitlery Clinton.
Living all of 20mins outside the DC beltway, believe me, the three I named are the ones who the Lobbing Groups, Bush contributors, and the elites want to be McAmnesty’s running mates.
I would say yes for “Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin” in a New York minute… she has balls. Just what we need!
SUE, SARAH, SUE
May 27, 2008 — The polar bears are doing just fine, thank you very much.
So says Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who announced last week that her state would sue to block Washington from listing the animals as “threatened” under the Endangered Species Act.
And it’s a good thing, too – because the new bear-population protections mask what may be the most serious threat to American economic might in decades.
Yes, polar bears.
