Questioning Obama’s Patriotism and Faith
Posted on June 15, 2008
Can we? Yes. We. Can. Thanx to Cao for this little vid.
So, is Obama Muslim or is that a rumor as he claims? His brother says he grew up Muslim!
Apparently the Obamas of Kenya have been reading those scurrilous emails to which Barack likes to refer, because they have no doubt — contrary to the claims of the Obama campaign, that the presidential candidate was raised a Moslem. They take that as a given.
As the Jerusalem Post reports, “Barack Obama’s half brother Malik said Thursday that if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background. In an interview with Army Radio he expressed a special salutation from the Obamas of Kenya.”
The Obama brothers’ father, a senior economist for the Kenyan government who studied at Harvard University, died in car crash in 1982. He left six sons and a daughter. All of his children – except Malik — live in Britain or the United States. Malik and Barack met in 1985.
In a remarkable denial issued last November that still stands on the official campaign website, Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs issued a statement explaining that “Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian.”
Apparently Malik Obama, himself a Muslim, had not read the press release.
Melanie Phillips is the most recent commentator to draw attention to the massive body of evidence that leaves no doubt that [Barack] Hussein Obama was born a Muslim (Islam is patrilineal) and raised a Muslim (so registered in school, acknowledging attending Islamic classes, reported accompanying his step-father to the mosque, and able to recite the Koran in the original Arabic).
Surely there is enough brains left in America than to take the risk and elect Obama.

Happy Father’s Day, Jay – and thanks for putting that up
Happy Fathers day Big Jay. Hope you are enjoying my friend.
And for Obama, maybe not being “patriotic” enough, or not being an “Evangelical” chrisitan. Then what are you kool-aid drinkers waiting for. Go start throwing stones at’em. Stone him. What are you waiting for??
Doesn’t Pledge Allegiance? Stone Him. Doesn’t Love America as much as you do? Stone Him. Doesn’t read the Bible everyday, and quote from it? Stone Him. Has a “moooslim” sounding name? Stone Him. Doesn’t want to Bomb Iran? Stone Him. Doesn’t support Israel more than America? Stone Him.
I could keep going.
The Phillips article is simply not fact checked. The guy was raised by his mother and grandparents in secular households. The school in Indonesia was secular, but he left it to attend a Catholic school. This is really pretty sick sound reverb world you guys haunt…
What kind of fact check do you need to see a video of Obama refusing to pledge our flag? Now, Regular Ron, no one wants to stone him here….I support his freedom, even to burn the flag if he likes, but I don’t want someone given our highest office that doesn’t respect what our flag means. I support his freedom to religion as well, I just want a straight answer on it. I’m NOT ready for a Muslim to be our president, and probably never will…sorry…the burden is on them to qualm my fears of that. If his “church” of twenty years reflects his brand of Christianity it is one of extreme views that I can do without influencing the character of our president.
Thanks Regular Ron, for knowingly rearranging and painting the message I put out to make me into some evil racist, Muslim hating idiot. I’m happy to know that is your opinion of me after all these years.
Oh come on Jay, in no way do I feel you are a racist. I was being as sarcastic as I can be. I am sorry, I didn’t mean to offended you. Honestly, was trying to be my sarcastic self.
Picture says a thousand words, doesn’t it? Where’s Obama’s explanation for it?
From the entry:
“In a remarkable denial issued last November that still stands on the official campaign website, Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs issued a statement explaining that ‘Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian.’”
How can Obama claim to be a “committed Christian” when he attended Wright’s church for 20 years? That’s not Christianity, plain and simple. In the end, Obama is just some guy who attended some kind of religious meetings for 20 years. Apparently, he wasn’t that committed, because he’s argued that he was not in attendance at any service when objectionable material was spewed. And he also never saw it on DVD or discussed by other congregants. Yeah, right!
