Although certainly a liberal he was generally very fair and the joy he took in politics was contagious. Also his genuine love of his family was terrifically endearing. He was obviously a loving husband, son and father and his loss, coming with such unexpected swiftness must be an awful shock to his family. They and he deserve all our prayers.
