Sure we can, we just have to be smarter about our priorities. Inexpensive transportation is an incredibly new thing. There&#039;s no reason to believe it&#039;s sustainable. Hopefully it is, but it might not be. 

All it would take to adjust is to begin increasing our population density again. It has been plummeting for decades and that might have to stop. That&#039;s easy to do in the grand scheme of things, but hard to do in the short run. That, I&#039;m pretty sure, is what Obama was getting at.</description>
