Larry, it was from a memo that Michael Yon got from the Dept. of Tranportation (that should raise questions right there about the supposed memo). And in my opinion, and being from the area, I found it to be a bit of crap.

The metro (it’s not a subway) stop they were talking about is heavily military and Pentagon officals. And as dumb as some left-wing whack-jobs are, they aren’t that dumb to do anything stupid in this area. It would be suicide for them.

Plus in that memo, the “Feds” were warning the soliders and officals if they encountered anyone who “held Anti-Government views” (that would be me) to contact the local Police. What a scam.

I don’t believe it. It’s a ploy to make that moronic job look relevent. And to suck more Federal Taxes out of the Government.

I seem to recall that a blogger some weeks ago tracked this down to a hoax by a single individual with an “agenda” to find evidence of Vietnam era disrespect for the uniforms, even if none could be found.
