During the time I was backing her, I never once heard words spoken or met anyone that could have been considered outright racist. What I'm seeing from these folks now has really opened my eyes to something I somehow missed. These can't be the same people I had associated with. But as Hillary has asked of us, I'm throwing my upport behind our only chance of saving this country from the Neocon madness that so many Americans have gradually been seduced by over the past couple of decades. I have a gay son and I don't want him to grow into an adult that will end up being the target of these right-wing, gay hating demagogs that will continue their push for anti-gay legislation in every statehouse in the country and perhaps an amendment to our U.S. Constitution too.
