None of us have forgotten Lieberman’s liberal views…thats why he’ll lose a big chunk of the base, one he is barely holding onto, if he makes such a choice. McCain HAS to rely on the independents. He can’t rely on the conservative base cuz he’s stabbed em in the back too many times. The conservatives that vote for him will actually only be doing so to avoid the alternative.

It does occur to me that McCain will attempt to counterpunch. If Obama picks Hagel, McCain will pick Lieberman. If Obama picks a woman, McCain will likely pick a woman or a minority. If Obama plays it straight and picks an established white male Democrat, then McCain will probably pick someone safe to shore up his base…….

I’ll take the switch of Liberman, to Hagel. But I’d rather have Hagel form a Real Conservative party. But if McAmnesty picks Liberman, I think it would be a sure sign of things to come. Concering Government.

Now, the hawks would love this pick.He wants to bomb any country that “theatens” American Interest (not soil). But, a lot of you, who like Ol’Joe, seem to forget that, the guy is as far left on all other things. Gun Rights, States Rights, and Abortion. He’s as far left as Obama. “But he’s for the war.”

I still think the VP slot is going to go to either Huckabee, Rick Perry, or the FL. Gov. Liberman with be in the cabinet, theres no doubt about that. Sec. of Homeland Security, will be the likely choice.

Now for Obama, to pick Hagel, would be like McAmnesty picking Liberman, but only different. Hagel doesn’t agree with the war. But he’s just about as far right as I am on most issues.

The “safe” bets for Obama would be the Gov. of Montana (i don’t mind him, very pro-state and gun rights) of course Hitlery, and I think Sen. Biden could be on the short list.
