I read The Philadelphia Inquirer on a regular basis because I live in Southeastern Pennsylvania, but I’ve never been able to finish a single column by Dick Polman. I try, but I just can’t get past the first couple of paragraphs. Nothing he writes makes any sense. The newspaper is really hot on this guy and often runs his column on the front page. I can’t figure that one out. Maybe they don’t have enough space on the Opinion page for yet another liberal columnist?

If you really want look at historical references, the passage quoted from Lincoln is a quote from the Bible (Matthew 12:25).

Who knew he Polman was so inspired by Holy Scripture!
