Pelosi: Democrat Dream Ticket of Clinton/Obama Impossible
Rush called it “Queen Bee Syndrome”.
“Take it from me — that won’t be the ticket,†Pelosi said Thursday at her weekly press conference. Pressed for further explanation by a chorus of reporters shouting, “Why?†Pelosi declined to elaborate.
“Do you want me to go through a lifetime of political gut?†said Pelosi, who grew up in an intensely political family in Baltimore. “I do think we’ll have a dream team — it just won’t be those two names.â€
Just in case she wasn’t clear enough: Impossible!
Its gotten quite ugly between them. I am leaning to actually agreeing with Pelosi for the first time in my life. I hope she is right.

She may be right. I used to think it was inevitable, but this appears to be a down-to-the-wire race with a gridlocked convention that will make Bush/Gore 2000 look like child’s play.
I DON’T KNOW…
It’s something I’ve been saying for a while as a strong possibility. After all, won’t Amerika love them all the more when they “make up” Then their constituants sigh (from the grave, from the penitentiary and from the other side of the border) “Ahhhhh, how sweet! See, they are unifiers after all.”

I don’t put anything past then, and won’t believe it ’till I see it.
Still, they are Demokrats, and it’s harder for them to let go of infighting than for a monkey to let go of the banana in the jar. Let’s just hope they aren’t more clever than the critters they “evolved” from.
