I feel that Mitt should be the choice if McCain is looking to strenghten his support from economic conservatives. he is also well known and has support from his prior run for office… he is well supported & would bring a lot to the ticket! I would not mind seeing some of the others listed in the article as VP (Especially Fred, I am a former FredHead!!!) but I do think that Mitt would make a smart pick, and would support the ticket with him as VP without regret.

Mitt Romney is the only choice for VP. I can’t believe that people were stupid enough to vote for McCain but if Romney is the running mate I will vote for him.

Should anyone want to get Mitt Romney on the ticket with McCain, some PACs are starting to do just that. May I recommend unitethegop dot com. It involves all members in committees to unite the Republican Party.

Mac’s already got reasonable positions to win the election… what he needs is a VP who will help him generate an army of volunteers who give both time and money. The right VP will help him in both time and money, without generating any unexpected surprises which divert the news from McCain. Mitt is a proven quantity with an uncanny ability to organize, who raised more money than any other Republican candidate (including McCain). He satisfies all three requirements. I’m not sure who else even gives you two. My time and Money are with Mitt… and any ticket he runs with.

Mitt Romney would make an excellent V.P. He also would be able to assume the presidency if necessary and lead an administration as he’s already prepared. He is very honest, honorable and very well tempered and is the adult in the room. Having a proven tract record all his life, he makes others confident in his decision making.
He could be both the VP and also concurrently be the Sec of the Treasury. He has the ambition and energy to handle both jobs easily. We need his problem solving and financial wisdom given the current economic uncertainies.

I’m trying to imagine the thought process that goes:

Hmmm. Not sure if I like this guy as President, but he sure picked a good Vice President, so, yeah, I’ll vote for him.

I don’t see anyone switching from Hillary/Obama to McCain based upon anyone’s Vice Presidential pick.

Maybe I’m wrong.
