Kristoff from the New York Times a year ago:
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.â€
This is just one example of what Pamela is talking about when she says “Obama’s narrative is being altered, enhanced and manipulated to whitewash troubling facts.”
This isn’t Obama’s white grandma, Madelyn Dunham, this is his black grandma, Sarah Hussein Obama.
He has paraded his step-grandmother in Kenya, who never saw him until the 1980s, as his “granny,” and locked the grandmother who actually raised him, Madelyn Dunham, away in a closet.

If this photo is from Obama himself, or his family, how did the Suntimes get the name of the woman pictured wrong?

Give us a break! Whoever you support should try to beat him on fair game. We don’t even need to expose that this picture is not authentic and so on … we all know it.
the issue is moslim or not muslim, black or not black, he has demonstrated greater capability to become a reconcilatory and gread president of the U.S. And, from what we see, like him or not, the chance is high that we will soon call him “Mr. President”. What an awesome story to tell to our grandchildren for decades to come … You better start taking notes of issues that you would tell your kid about this great, young, black president of America …..

In the New York Times article cites above, it states,
” He once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school, but a president is less likely to stereotype Muslims as fanatics ? and more likely to be aware of their nationalism ? if he once studied the Koran with them.”
Why was Obama doing studying the Koran in Koran study classes as a non-Muslim?
My advice, Obama: Elected President or not, don’t you hazard a trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran. In fact, don’t you go anywhere near where the crazed Islamists can get their hands on you. You don’t even rate a fatwa from one of the many bloodthirsty crafty Ayatollahs or Moftis, asking for your head. Your fate is already sealed. You are on automatic, so to speak– a person who was given the gift of Islam and who ungratefully turned his back to the one and only faith of Allah, so the Muslims believe. The punishment for this kind of betrayal is prescribed as haad (most severe), meaning death.

He was registered as a muslim in that Christian school…that’s what he was doing studying the Koran. It appears that his father and his stepfather were muslims, and his white mother was a convert.
Regardless, when you’re born into Islam – you can’t change your religion…unless you want to become an apostate. That’s why it’s weird that there has been no outrage from muslims about a “Christian” running.

I don’t care about his color or any ties he might or might not have to Islam. I do care that he’s a radical left winger, naive enough to believe we can ‘negotiate’ with maniacs like Ahmadinejad and Kim Jong Il, and apparently willing to go beyond what even McCain would do for illegal immigrants and to work to make sure even more people depend on the government rather than their own hard work for their sustenance.
I only hope America can survive 4 years of this fool.

AMERICA is a multy tribal,religious state and give the muslim a chance to prove that islam is a peaceful religion.obama can make peace with the arab world.
I agree that the majority of Muslims are peaceful. But I’d also argue that the majority of terrorists are Muslims.
Peace with the majority who are willing to let others live as Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Krishna’s, Mormons, and atheists is fine. Negotiating with radicals like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, or treating terrorists like criminals, with full rights in a court of law, is naive.
Barack Obama is not a Muslim. But, what if he was?
Same guy, same charisma, same inspirational idealism. But also, a Muslim. Not a crazy Muslim. Not a guy prone to strapping bombs to his chest in hopes of meeting virgins in heaven.

If this statement were about him having to deny Christianity over and over, I’d be furious. This would not be good for the gander, so this goose is wrong. The BS that some bigots are circulating is wrong, and the fact that he has to deny it is wrong. This should not be an issue, and we as a nation are allowing it to become one
