I have been browsing the comments conservative-nuts have left concerning Obama’s fictional background as a Muslim…who do they think they are convincing? It is clear he is not, and there is no evidence that he practices or ever has practiced Islam. Most of these urchins either use already debunked half-truths about his past, make up something, or my favorite, use their “gut” in writing these bogus lies. Don’t they know the only people they could possibly convince would have to be so racist and uneducated that they must already be republicans, thus voting for Mccain any way?
I could talk about how I would rather be governed by the first 2 thousand people in California’s telephone directory, than any conservatives’ “gut”, which is how people who can’t spell “prejudice” or “lack of education” refer to their cognitive process…the type of mental process which leads to a failing economy and a mind-numbingly dumb war in Iraq.
I could talk about how invading Iraq after 9/11 is the rational equivalent to punching your little sister in the face after a stranger hits you with rock.
Yet…there may be one way for conservatives to understand how absurd they sound, and who knows, they may be dumb enough to allow my little rumor campaign to stick to McCain…well, here goes nothing:
John McCain is a secret Communist. You see, he joined the Air Force with the plan of destroying his 30 million dollar US airplane above North Vietnam so that he could join Ho Chi Minh’s revolution. He outlined to top North Vietnamese commanders how best to conduct the war so that the U.S would eventually surrender. McCain lost us the Vietnam War on purpose to appease his Communist handlers, and now he has his little commie eyes set on our new war. John McCain says “he doesn’t know much about the economy” because he hates capitalism so much it pains him to discuss it. His plans are to hand over the U.S nuclear arsenal to Putin and acheive his dream of communist world domination. I mean, John McCain wasn’t even born in America! What does that tell your “gut”? Nothing good I bet.
If it seems far-fetched to construe the above lies from a few years a presidential candidate spent outside the country, than maybe you will understand why your attempts to paint an honorable American,(your future President, I might add) with your mindless bigotry will always fall flat. People in general are not as dumb as conservatives in specific.

Speaking from a southside point of view, no one rises through the grinder of Cook County politics unless they’re groomed… and then, never, ever, this fast. That’s a fact. Follow the money… take off the rose colored glasses and do the research.

Clue: Islam has no separation of church and state. Check the global terror map. It seems a hard choice has to be made by ‘moderate’ muslims; Will they be quiet out of fear (which is assent whether intended or not, or whack off the bad limbs). I guess you also missed the english al Jazeera polls on our election from all over the muslim world, and the poll via CAIR on the percentages that want Sharia.

If i’m in the West and can’t speak out, it’s time to rethink my religion.

The reality is that the 80 percent of the conflicts in the world are religious and 100 percent of those are between Muslims and non-Muslims. It is in their religion that if one does not convert, then one must die for being an infidel. Wake up America, Islam has declared America “The Great Satan” we as a people need to wake up from this awe of Obama’s oratorial skills. Hitler was a great orator too and he was allied with the muslems. I refuse to have the facts about this muslem dismissed because people call them whisper campaigns, and Clinton inspired debasement of his character, or racism and religious prejudice. The fact is that since Obama is lying about his religious views, what else is he lying about?

Where were you people who are afraid that Obama has Muslim ties when Bush was running for office and was courting the religious right. Is it only an issue when the man in question is of a different faith than you? Bush has set policy and made appointments based on his religious believes but I didn’t here any bitching from Christians about that. Bush has said more than once that he wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade and would appoint judges to that end, this is based on his Christian believes and would affect millions who do not share his faith. Now a man who was has a Muslim father and a Muslim education is having his loyalty to this country questioned. Did any of you choose your parents or where you were sent to school? I should remind you all that there are millions of Muslims around the world who are not extremists and are ordinary people just like you. Shame on you hypocrites!!

This story is playing on the tv and in the papers across Europe and the rest of the world outside the US. The general attitude here (in London – and I suspect in other cosmopolitan locations) is amazement at the idea that there is a story here. Do people Stateside not know what a turban is? It’s something traditional you put on your head. I suppose the man is lucky he hadn’t grown a beard. Like men can do. Hmmm, I’m remembering the trouble Sikhs had with being beaten and shot at after 9/11. If it was even worth Hillary’s staff trying to use this as an anti-Barack measure, then there’s something badly ignorant and xenophobic going on in mainstream US culture.

I don’t think he is Muslim but then I don’t know. But so what if he is! One of the main reasons Pilgrims came to America was for religious freedom. But it seems America the Beautiful has forgotten that. There are several Muslims who are citizens of this country and that does not mean they are terrorists. How racist for anyone to think such a thing! But of course unofficially and traditionally the President of the United States is supposed be White, a man, a Christian, and have access to wealth. We are no different than the British if we impose a specific religion on our country…Wake up people!

Rezko was his fundraiser in both Illinois runs and O himself stated he had known him for 17 years per his book; Yet, he just said they were friendly and he had no idea, even though it was all over the IL press.

BTW, you’re dropping the lede… if he can’t wear traditional Luo tribal gear, WTH is he doing in Somaliland wearing Islamic gear?

Wearing traditional Somali garb while visiting doesn’t make him a Muslim any more than Bush wearing a Chinese robe makes him a Communist. What about Laura Bush in her Muslim headscarf when she visited a mosque? This whole thing is absurd.
