Edward Cropper shows why the Republicans will loose the election. Go ahead and insult the working base of your party and then act surprised when they do not either volunteer to aid you or vote for you come election time. Evangelicals are abandoning the Republican Party in droves and fools like Mr. Cropper are not helping the matter.

According to Karl Rove Mike Huckster will have to get 83% of the remaining vote to win. That is impossible, period.
Could he get enough votes to deny McCain an outright win and create a brokered convention? Possibly, but not likely.
Huckabull is a boil on the Republicans butt.
He is basically a fraudulent conservative pretender, who not only isn’t qualified to be President but is at the same time a charlatan who is conning his way into the hearts of numerous voters. This guy is a total creep and exists as a candidate through the ignorance of evangelicals who support him.

Huckabee has my vote. I doubt McCain will offer him the VP position as McCain is establishment and the establishment detests Huckabee. I suspicion there is a deal between McCain and Romney and it would not surprise me if it was over the VP position.

I’m not sure why Huckabee’s strategy is not obvious to everyone. Keep in mind that Ed Rollins, who chaired the winningest campaign in history is running it.

Huckabee is following a Red State Strategy, and you will notice that almost all of the states of significance are Red. His strategy all along was to carry the south, eliminate Romney, unite the base and sweep the remaining red states. SC and MO losses make it harder, but he is definitely a contender. He may not win outright, but McCain will not get the majority.

I do wonder though, if Dobson would support a McCain / Huckabee ticket in the general after his blistering, but justified statement on Tuesday. I must admit that I’m thinking about it….
