George and you can get together and petition that his family be allowed to legally immigrate to the U.S. The U.S. should of course make sure they meet standard qualifications including criminal background checks, know English, know the basic ideas of freedom enshrined in the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, and have passed a health check. Some other requirements may also be assessed. I like Tom Thoens' remarks, illegals should be barred from voting along with their children. The ruling class aristocracy needs to understand that they cannot depend on a huge voting block of illegal aliens to vote them into office. Take it a step further, make it where those on welfare cannot vote either, make it so they must be free and clear of being on the dole for at least four years before they can vote again and watch the changes in politics change. First, the illegals can never cancel the vote of a citizen. Second, the useless politicans in this country will stop pandering to the illegals. Without having the potential to vote the liberal caring politicans will treat illegals like road kill. Their compassion extends only to those who have the ability to keep them in power. Our current policies are endangering the wellbeing of the United States for generations to come. I think the first step is to eliminate the incentives of illegal immigrants to come. Unfortunately, some in Congress want to increase the incentive by providing subsidized college education to illegal immigrants. This will only encourage them to stay.
