Oh, Jay, come on. Cut with this paranoia. We don’t like Mitt, OK? We just don’t like the guy. He puts on a different act for every election. Mr. Phoney Baloney was never going to win, no matter how much money he spent.
Fred never got his act together. People want to think their vote matters and most won’t throw their vote away on principle.
With Fred and Mitt out, who did that leave? Like it or not, that left McCain.
Stop with this “back room deals” and “conservative purity” nonsense. McCain is going to win the nomination and it’s time to stop trashing the guy.
If McCain wins the nomination he will lose the general to Obama.
Jay, that may be true, but Mitt would be completely slaughtered. Hillary or Obama wouldn’t even have to get out of bed in the morning to beat him. Dig this stuff:

We may lose, but at least we have a chance with McCain. Romney would never escape being painted as Gordon Gecko.
By the way, I didn’t even get into his Cayman Island adventures where he had an office that was little more than a post office box so he could (legally) avoid paying US taxes. How would that play in the general if we go into a recession?
