The national poll I have seen shows Huckabee is a virtual tie with Romney and McCaine way ahead. That is a national poll though and does not really apply as delegates are not awarded on a national basis. The media has been silent about who polls what as regards how many delegate they might recieve. Since that is easy enough to determine I figure they have their reasons for not keeping us informed.

There is no way either party would pick a white woman and a black man to be offered to the voting public as a team. We have come a long way racially but sad to say not that far. Lee Hamilton is too old and for those who know him too duplicitous.
Look up wish washy in the dictionary and you will find his picture. This guy never saw an ambiguous comment he didn’t love.
Huckabee is slobbering all over McCain and cozying up to him like a dog in heat to get the veep job.
Can you imagine having two of the biggest con men in the country on the same ticket. McCain would have to enlist additional aides just to keep an eye on Elmer Gantry.

McCain will need to get someone with executive experience, probably a southern Governor. I don’t see it being the Shuckster because he really would not add much to McCains Campaign. Haley Barbour perhaps..

I could see Hillary with one of two choices. Wes Clark or Richardson, but I honestly don’t see her as being put in position to pick a VP.

Obama I think will go way outside the box and pick someone who has extensive executive experience, Pockets deep enough to make Romney’s bank account look like chump change, and someone to draw away the independent voter from John McCain. The Individual I am talking about is the one time Democrat, one time Republican, now independent and always liberal Michael Bloomberg.

Just remember you heard it here first.

Plus A.I.P.A.C is a big contributor to her.So her Israel first/America second credentals are lined up there. Just to make a minor correction in regards to SeeDubya’s thought on McCain/Graham ticket.

If you read the post he was kind enough, (Or just trying to dodge the blame) to credit me with this bad idea.

Not complaining mind you. Just like to keep things accurate.

In any case, I have a bad feeling we’re going to have a Clinton administration. It will be a one term administration since Hillary and her marxist cronies will promptly move to nationalize health care, raise taxes int low Earth orbit, and probably go after the energy and telecom sectors.

The fairness doctrine will be reimposed and extended to the web.

Once She figures out she won’t have enough cash to “Help the children take out the village”, she’ll go after the 401K and IRA accounts.

I think we’ll see a stock market crash surpassing 1929 and a depression by 2010-2011.

I won’t go into the foriegn policy disasters I think will happen, but Israel will be abandoned. I suspect we will see the first nuclear weapons detonated in anger since Nagasaki.

Anyone want to try their hands at future history?

McCain/Thompson – the geriatric twins won’t be a pretty ticket against the charismatic Obama or the botoxed Clinton. Besides, our luck they’d both keel over at the same time and Nancy Pelosi would be sitting in the Oval Office.

McCain/Huckabee – I don’t care how hard Huckabee prays, McCain won’t touch him – there’s a reason why McCain gave the religious right the finger…

McCain/Grahmnesty – they will have to double up the secret service if this duo shows up on inauguration day. The illegal immigration crowd will go certifiably nuts.

My pick? (If I must pick McCain) McCain/Steele. Michael Steele is a solid conservative and as long as we’re not running against Obama it won’t look like we’re treating a black man like a second class choice.

Who will Clinton pick? Who cares! We couldn’t even get the last Clinton administration to meet with the CIA – what makes anyone think the vice president would even see president Clinton except on SOTU speeches and the inaugurations?

But it won’t be Clinton/Obama, that’s for sure. My guess – Wes Clark – she needs the military props and Wes Clark is as pathetic a prop as she could find who won’t bother her but once a year.

McCain/Steele vs. Clinton/Clark.

If Hillary and Obama pick each other it negates their credibility. She said he had no experience but would have him as VP? He said she was the old DC and then would put that on his ticket?

I would like to see our side have a brokered convention and pick a Thompson/Hunter ticket. Long shot no doubt but that would be our best chance to win.

Oh, I wouldn’t think that Huckabee would be seen as a loser just for staying in the race. After all, who was the loser in 1980 on the GOP side? Some guy named George Bush.
