Obama Takes SC in a Landslide – The Dem Soap Opera Continues Thanks to CNN
Illinois Senator Barack Obama won the South Carolina Democrat Primary in a landslide defeating Senator Hillary Clinton (D NY) and former Senator John Edwards (D NC) 55% to 27% and 18% respectively. This victory in South Carolina narrows the gap between Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama in the hunt for delegates.
With 2,025 delegates at stake in this race, there seems to be some discrepancy in the current count. According to ABC News Clinton leads Obama the delegate count 222 to 179 while CNN has the count 230-152. Both have Clinton leading the race, but the question is, by how much?
