Anyone with an ounce of sense realizes that giving a greater break to the taxes of the rich is tax cuts for the rich. The Democrats on the other hand give a greater tax break to the poor. Both actions are immoral according to God who clearly states not to favor the rich or the poor. Those people who choose to support either must give an account of their actions to God and he is just. As for myself I choose to obey his commands because they are good.

I was undecided between Bush and McCain until South Carolina when McCain called the Bush proposed tax cuts "tax cuts for the rich". The rest is history.

Conservatives vote for tax cuts, and if he had a spending cut issue, why didn't he try to put them into the bill? He offered no amendments to the bill. He's using it as an absolute scapegoat when at the time he said he didn't think we should cut taxes during a time of war. He's not the most Conservative on ANY issue.

This is ridiculous and a false representation of the most fiscally conservative candidate in the field.

John McCain voted against the first round of Bush tax cuts because they weren't accompanied by spending cuts to make government smaller.

Sounds pretty conservative...

Not to mention that the Senator has never earmarked a bill and is solidly against pork-barrel spending.

John McCain is for tax cuts, he just wants those tax cuts to be responsible and truly conservative.
