I'm staying with Fred until he formally announces the end of his campaign. Then I'm writing in his name in November. It's the principle of the thing.

Now here's my idea. McCain wins the nomination. Since he and Fred are good friends and he needs someone ho actually believes in the constitution on the ticket, Fred becomes the VP candidate.

They crush the iceberg in November. On January 21st, President McCain has a heart attack and passes away. Fred becomes the president and appoints Duncan Hunter VP.

We win! :)

(I can dream can't I??)

PS

That's one weird Captcha ya got there!

I'm giving up on Fred. I still like his positions, but he's toast. Mitt's my #2, but I'll vote for the one who'll do best against McCain (probably Huckabee in GA). McCain must be stopped. He's a disaster and a backstabber.

[...] Jay: Other good news is that I was pretty close in my prediction, though Fred’s third place wasn’t a strong third. He’s headed home now, and gave an early speech that leaves us all wondering if he will drop out or not. On the one hand, most of his supporters want him to hang in there so they can have their chance to vote for him. On the other hand, unless he has some magic he’s been holding out on, remaining in only takes votes away from the more conservative of the liberal candidates. Fred already has my absentee vote for Florida. [...]
