		<description>Interesting that the Democrat left is now calling this incident a Tonkin Gulf lie. They fail to mention that it was their Democrat President - Lyndon Baines Johnson, that told it. This is more of their myopic suspicion that the right acts exactly like them. True - It is trying very hard to be &quot;almost like the real thing(liberal) but not quite yet.

This election should cement the birth of the one party system though, with even a casual perusal of the GOP candidates. What ever made the GOP think that the &quot;big tent&quot; was a viable alternative to a party ready to present and defend leadership on a solid set of conservative principles?

Why would anyone vote for a compassionate conservative when they can vote for the real thing?</description>
