Thompson also did a good job of representing his position on illegal aliens in the New Hampshire debate on Fox and I heard no one cheer him on for it.

My wife is an immigrant and I'm in the process of getting all the paperwork together to get her conditions removed and issued a 10 year Green card.

Her sister recently came to the States with her son to be with her American husband. Both of them had problems with the immigration service, but both of them obeyed the laws.

You have no idea how frustrating it was going through the process while watching some jerk hop across the border and demand special services and privileges.

Because of this I'm a bit radical. I say forget the fence, lay in a nice mine field. Arrest those idiot politicians who declare Sanctuary cities and confiscate the business of those who knowingly hire illegals.

A business with 1000 employees with say 5-10 illegals, they probably got snookered by false papers. A business with 1000 employees and 100-200 illegal? Throw the management in jail along with the HR people.

Fred Thompson is the only one who will lock down the borders and deal with this problem IMHO.

McCain? Please! Huckabee? Don't make me laugh. Romney likes to hire them. Guiliani (sp?) should be tossed in to jail as one of the sanctuary supporters.
(Told you I was getting radical on this subject)

Yes, Fred didn't do much about this when he was in the Senate. It wasn't the priority it is now and he understands that things have changed. I hope that when he is President, that along with dealing with the illegals, he will also do a complete overhaul of the USCIS and make it a bit easier for those who ant to come here legally to do so.

Fred is my candidate!! :)
