Thompson Will NOT Quit

Not a bad show for Fred tonight. Good news for Fred heads! He is staying in, and he’s got plenty of potential to go far.
ABC News’ Christine Byun reports: Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson says he is staying in the race.
“It’s pretty clear we’re going to have a ticket to the next dance,” Thompson said as the audience cheered.
He thanked his wife, Jeri, who he called his “number one dance partner,” and Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, for his support.
“It looks like somebody is going to need to carry a strong, consistent, conservative message — and it looks like it ought to be me,” Thompson told a cheering crowd of supporters.
It was a message they were eager to hear.
Indeed. Any other choice is voting liberal.
Update: Fred holds on to the third place slot.
