Did Tancredo Defeat Thompson?
What I’m afraid of is that this analysis could be right. Regardless, I’m with Rick Moran.
Fred is real – what you see is what you get. In a way, he reminds me more of Eisenhower than Reagan. Not a simple man but a transparent one. There is little subterfuge or guile and his direct, no Mickey Mouse style of speaking and campaigning is a breath of fresh air when placed against his blow-dried rivals Romney and The Huckster.
In short, Fred Thompson is head and shoulders the better man when compared to any other Republican candidate. He may not be the best speaker. He may not shine on the campaign trail. But just who or what are we electing next November? The guy with the pretty smile and easy joke? Or are we trying to elect someone with the penetrating mind and the Iron will to go to Washington and really try and change things while being able to stand tall for America as we face the many serious threats against us in a very uncertain world.
So I would say to my fellow bloggers who, like me, know our endorsement means very little as far as the big picture of the campaign is concerned, that our collective voices, if shouted loud enough, just might do some good. The time is now to stand up for Fred if you support him. He needs our help desperately. Give as much money as you can spare. Write about the campaign often between now and January 3.

lol, and they say Paul supporters are crazy…. at least we know you need a unique platform if you’re going to run an uncharismatic candidate.
Well stated, I might add. And, who cares about charisma? Bill Clinton? Smiling Mitt? Tax Happy Huck? Ron Paul the Fraud?
We are with Fred.
I wish charisma didn’t matter, but we’re preaching to the choir here. We’re the minority that cares enough about politics to sit down and talk about it on a Thursday night. The rest of the world cares about charisma, whether or not they’re willing to admit it.
I love it! Thank you for that. The only candidate in decades that steadfastly maintains the Old Right position even when it means 534-1 and he’s “the fraud”. I’ve heard him called a lot of things over the past few months, but that one is just plain delicious.
Ron Paul is not old right. You should look at the early Republican party platform and you will see that. He may be more of a Jacksonian Democrat.
If you want a Free Trade financial conservative that will sell the U.S. out to international bureaucracy then Fred is your man.
All I can say about the claim he is a social conservative is where is the beef. I would like to know what social conservative bills he sponsored or co-sponsored when he was in Congress.
Good grief, the primaries are just beginning! In 2004, Kerry was polling in the single digits until a few days before the Iowa Cauci. Who picks our candidtes — voters? Or polling organizations?
The race is wide open. I’m voting for the guy whose views most closely match my own. I’m with Fred.

Fred Thompson gets it folks. he is easily the best and most conservative candidate in this race. Huckabee is a fraud except on two issues. Mitt can’t decide what he stands for. I am with you Fred!
I mistakenly gave credit to Tancredo for being able to spot a con man when he saw one but, using the same ridiculous reasoning as Hannity offered, “I sat down and talked with him.”…as if that meant anything at all with a record and past like Willard’s ( or The Huckster’s and Rudolph’s for that matter ).
We can correctly conclude then that high motivation for the right cause clearly doesn’t mean you have the intelligence to keep choosing the right path.
As for the voters; an intentional avoidance and failure of their duty as an American citizen to research the past beyond what the candidates offer today is painfully obvious here…is it any wonder why our elected officials in general are such complete clowns??
