I’m just as concerned as Rick, but I covered my qualms with the Huckster here. Rick writes about how important it is for conservatives to get off the Huckabee train as fast as possible in this post. Make sure to read it.

    I’m keeping vigilant, Jay. I’ve given to Huckabee’s campaign, and may do more. Yet, some of the criticisms from fellow conservatives hit home. I do need to be satisfied that the gentleman can either be sufficiently educated or that he can sufficiently explain himself on some things, particularly foreign policy.

    I’m not ready to throw him under the bus yet, though.

    It sounds like the Republicans are going to loose in 2008 since there is no canidate that is perfect for everyone. If you want a Democrat in the White House then feel free to be a perfectionist. I certainly would like Duncan Hunter to win but I will probably have to settle for a messy alternative. Such is politics.
