"The fact that anti-Christian Thought Police go so far as to ban red and green lights because the thought of “Christmas” may enter into someone’s mind - that’s not extreme. The fact that police are on-guard at a public school sporting event to arrest the first person who utters “Jesus” - that’s not etreme. These are real events with many more yet to be mentioned."

I would like to know what legitimate news sources have reported these stories. (The Fake News Channel doesn't count). They reek of phony viral email. I have a feeling they are either false or exaggerated. But even if they are true, please don't fall for the stupid Bill O'Reilly bull that anybody is fighting a war on Christmas, here in the United States where over 80% of the people identify themselves as Christians. Talk about phony victimization. And by the way, how can anyone believe that Jesus is so weak that he can't stand up to someone who won't allow red and green lights?

Churchnstate,

If I may add this to the list. Telling school children that they cannot read their Bibles during study hall, thus "prohibting the free exercise" of their religion--not extreme.

Like your idea about "everybody else should go to work." Hey, if you're so offended about having a day off, then go to work in protest.

I agree with RegularRon. The fact that governments and private institutions issue policies that declare anyone uttering "Christmas" will be penalized - that's not extreme. My vote is that December 25th is Christmas - to be celebrated by Christians. Everyone else should go to work and not have a holiday.

Ron. I was whining?

OK. Let's say I was whining. A store chooses "let's look good for Jesus lip gloss" as its suggested gift. No problem, I don't offend easy.

I just note it in a short post.

But you call it moaning. Blowing out of proportion.

How about a store chooses a campy "looking good for Mohammed lip gloss" for a suggested sale item to mark Ramadan?

Come on, go to the CourtZero site and look at the picture of the flyer. Do you really mean what you are saying?

Here's an idea. Instead of whining about this, just don't buy from them. Plus there is only a few Virgin Megastores around. I believe New York City, London and Los Angeles. I could be wrong about the locations, but there aren't many around.

Here's a question, why is it ALWAYS blown out of porportion about some stores not saying "Merry Christmas"? Last time I checked Hanukkah is being celebrated at this time (And I know lots of you on here believe in the whole "judeo-christian" thing). And in addition, why would I want to force someone to say "Merry Christmas" , if that person is Jewish, or even an Atheist. I don't care. I know the meaning of Christmas, why should I force my belief on someone else who doesn't want to believe it?? This is ridiculous, to say the least.

I believe in tradtion, just like everyone else. But to cry, and moan about every little thing is about as childish, as the Socialists/Liberals themselves.

You know what I do when I see things like this. I say a little pray, to which ever Saint is needed. And go on my way.
