The main character was not Dorothy nor was her mother Glenda. This took place well after the timeframe of the movie and none of the character were supposed to those from the original film or book. They even state that DG, who you falsely referred to as Dorothy, was a descendant of Dorothy. This film was not about how good creates evil, but of a woman owning up to her past mistakes and risking everything to save the people she loved. It was also about having faith in ones self, just like the original story. The cops in this film were called Tin Men, in my opinion, because the Tin Man always stepped in front of Dorothy in the book. To honor him, they called police and security officers Tin Men. I saw a young girl that out of naivety made a mistake causing evil. She took responsibility and owned up to that mistake and then took action to correct it. This world needs more people that are willing to take the responsibility for the mistakes they have made and be willing to do what it takes to correct those mistakes, to remove evil from the world.
