Hillary Plant in Republican CNN YouTube Debate?
Posted on November 28, 2007
General Keith Kerr who appeared as a “spontantous” questioner on CNN’s YouTube Republican Debates hosted by Anderson Cooper is a member of the Hillary Clinton campaign. But this was not mentioned upfront, Kerr treated as a regular, spontaneous questioner. Shouldn’t that have been made clear to the audience? Or does CNN think it’s OK to sandbag the GOP candidates with a Hillary operative without mentioning it?
In fact, he was so interesting to the CNN folks that they not only had his YouTube video question but he was there in person to ask follow up questions.
Here is the information about General Kerr’s efforts for the Hillary Clinton campaign:
Clinton Campaign Announces Launch Of LGBT Americans For Hillary Steering Committee
On the eve of the 38th anniversary of Stonewall, Hillary for President announced the formation of “LGBT Americans for Hillary,” a national steering committee of over 65 leaders in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Members of the steering committee include LGBT elected officials, activists from national LGBT and Democratic Party political groups as well as leaders from the worlds of business, entertainment and sports. This leadership committee will work with the campaign on several areas including political outreach, communications, policy advice and counsel, and fundraising….
At the tail of the info about this Hillary committee is a list of those who have joined Hillary’s efforts:
LGBT Americans For Hillary Steering Committee Members (Committee In Formation)*:
(Among the many members is…)
Keith Kerr, retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve
And, what does this endorsement mean? According to Hillary’s website:
* Members of LGBT AMERICANS FOR HILLARY have endorsed Hillary Clinton for President in their individual capacity. The names of past or present affiliations are included to assist in identifying the individuals listed and do not indicate any endorsement by that group or organization.
So, what do you all think? Was this a stealth Hillary shill by CNN?
Update by Jay: Just to be clear, this is the man who claimed to be a retired general who is gay and asked about gays in the military. Is he a Hillary shill? Here’s all the evidence one needs.
Here is video of the plant asking his questions:
Geez, surely the Hillary camp knew this would be found out.
Michelle Malkin digs up lots more plants.…plants galore! Also see Wizbang! Planting season indeed.

yes…duh…
This angers me. Really angers me. If the Republican candidates don’t comment on this farce — I’ll lose faith in them as well.
CNN — clinton news network. Oh, Cooper stated later “we didn’t know” …. Right. So much for CNN’s quest to be THE news channel. The entire debate was a farce — a staged, comical farce to embarrass and humiliate conservative candidates.
funny how there was not one single solitary GOP plant at the dem debate, huh.
also: i heard anderson cooper was GAY.
as a leading gay celebrity in the NEWS BIZ he probably knew this who this guy was. he was probably complicit.
The Log Cabin Republican Youtuber is an Obama plant.
CNN probably did not know he was a member of one of Hillary’s groups. They did mention it as soon as they claimed to have found it out. Who cares anyways since liberals can ask questions as well as anyone else. A member of moveon or Code Pink could have asked a question for all we know.
Who thinks political debates - as we’ve come to know them - are useful? Raise your hands!
No one?
Then who cares? As for this shill … he may be living as an openly gay man … now … but he didn’t when he was in the military. The question is one the Dems couldn’t answer or handle when Slick Willie was Prez; why is it so important now? And why do the “gay” activists line up in support of the people who couldn’t handle it before?
Polls and Debates: useless. Dems and their Shills: predictable.
We all spotted it right away during the live blog. But the ting that bothered me the most is they let Kerr run the show for an extended period of time. These debates are becoming less about the candidates and more about the audience all the time.
The sad thing was that the sound room tried to cut off the guy’s microphone and then Anderson went and gave him another microphone so he could continue.
This kind of thing still surprises me when I hear about it!
I think its just the idea that CNN believes they could get away with it without really trying to cover their tracks.
Anyways, this idea that the states ought to decide whether or not to legalize the killing of innocent babies is inherently vile and evil. Anyone who makes such an argument (like Ron Paul, Fred Thompson, etc.) is by definition a bad person.
To get a better idear of what I’m talking about check out this analysis of Ron Paul’s response to a question asked on YouTube about abortion a few months back.

What they don’t believe in is deception.
I thought you all believed in free speech.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech…
She was following the Constitutional version of the First Amendment in exercising her inalienable right and not allow Government schools to prohibit her “free exercise thereof”.
Your Secular Humanist version of the First allows you to say what you want but forbids others from saying what they want.
If there was any deception; at least she didn’t try to change the Constitution and then claim an allegiance to the bastardized version of it.
I think the time is coming once again for me to break out the banning pen. Or in this case key. Can we say… private property rights?
loboinok, you continue to support lying and deception.
No Koolaid/Libertarian/BV, I do not. Nor do I support deception by those using multiple screen names to troll.
We do not allow men and women in the military to bathe together or have common restrooms because…why? Because some women would be offended, be uncomfortable with having men look at them and be aroused and likewise some women and men object on moral grounds. Now what is the difference in a Gay man and a straight man essentially cohabitatingand straight men and women cohabitating. In both cases, there will be members who object. Its about more than gender, its about sexual orientation and being forced to place yourself in a position where you will be made uncomfortable. OK…I can hear the words Homophobe being screamed. I am no more a homophobe than a straight woman is a heterophobe. Homophobe is just a lame attempt to lable, demean, and puta straight person on the defensive. A phobia or fear is irrational. This is not irrational. If it were a fear…well fear breeds prejudice and hatred. I dont hate gay people. Some of the nicest people I know are gay. I dont treat them any differently than my straight friends so before you yell Homophobe, get off your self-righteous soap box of universal condemnation and accept responsibility for the choices you make or dont make, and/or accept the fact that you wer born differnt…not worse, not a bad person, but just different. Since you are different, expect to be treated different.
I will answer his question writes:

The military, in case you haven’t noticed, is in the business of making us do a lot of things we wouldn’t normally be comfortable with.
For example, I don’t normally play with carbines, grenades or thermal detonators but I WILL if I’m in the military because it’s necessary.
Some people oppose killing on moral grounds but believe there are reasons to ignore this prohibition while still retaining their moral bearing. Amazing, huh? Granted, some groups are more comfortable with sending other social classes to die but that’s another rant, isn’t it?
So if the military can make us kill, one might suggest that you can get over the idea that someone might be looking at your ass.
And if killing humans is an easier hurdle for you to climb, clearly you’ve got bigger issues than gays to get over.
Good lord.
