Edwards Will Force Healthcare Program On Everyone

Wow! Whatever happened to Democrats being pro-choice? Will this forced health care pay for abortions too? Don’t Democrats believe that women should make their own health care decisions? Talk about totalitarianism! Flip says:
The frontrunning Democrats are just tripping over themselves in their efforts to one-up the unspeakable idiocy of each other’s healthcare plans.
“I’m mandating healthcare for every man woman and child in America and that’s the only way to have real universal healthcare.â€
“Evertime you go into contact with the helathcare system or the govenment you will be signed up.â€
During a press avail following the event Edwards reiterated his mandate:
“Basically every time they come into contact with either the healthcare system or the government, whether it’s payment of taxes, school, going to the library, whatever it is they will be signed up.â€
When asked by a reporter if an individual decided they didn’t want healthcare Edwards quickly responded, “You don’t get that choice.“
Hmmm…here is a scary thought. How is Edwards planning on enforcing this? Role model?

Easily, payroll deductions. The government has long since been wedged between us and our employers, so it’s trivial to force us to pay for this kind of BS. Having already paid for it, very few would have the [*desire and means] to take anything other than the path of least resistance.
That’s what makes the income tax the worst possible tax. EVERY other tax is avoidable to various degrees by the exercise of free will, but they have us by the short hairs with the income tax.

All I want is a President that will:
- Make all healthcare costs tax deductible, thus eliminating the idiotic incentive to bundle healthcare with employment
- End misguided attempts to “encourage” this or that. Just get out of the way and let the free market and I decide on the best solution.
It sounds like an old joke:
