I love the cute phrase "militant atheist" by the way. People who drill holes into brains, dissolve people alive using chlorine, rip off children’s faces using piano wire, get away with bashing a policeman's ribs in and sentence women to death on the issue of teddy bear namers are freedom fighters of the religion of peace; but people who say "we need to grow out of this", now they, THEY are the militants! I like the inference the atheists are all idiots too. The ”village atheist”. That’s not condescending is it? Who are these “condescending and militant atheists” that the ACLU speaks on behalf of?

Blaming atheists for all the world's ills is becoming a popular hobby, and I guess we all need a hobby, but just look a little closer and see who the ACLU are really fighting on behalf of.
