Huckabee for VP….

I wish he was more electable, but he would make a great running mate for Giuliani (assuming he wins the primaries).  He would be perfect to balance off some of Rudy’s social stances…

Huckabee: America enslaved to Saudi oil- AP

"Every time we put our credit card in the gas pump, we’re paying so that the Saudis get rich — filthy, obscenely rich, and that money then ends up going to funding madrassas," schools "that train the terrorists," said Huckabee. "America has allowed itself to become enslaved to Saudi oil. It’s absurd. It’s embarrassing."

Huckabee said "I would make the United States energy independent within 10 years and tell the Saudis they can keep their oil just like they can keep their sand, that we won’t need either one of them."

I think Huckabee will win! Then we can talk about who will be his vice president.

Just look at the polls, Huckabee is surging and Conservatives are flocking to him…It’s just a matter of time until the media realizes it.

I’d love to see him on the ticket in either slot. But don’t write him off yet. He’s made lots of progress.

I like Huckabee. I intend to vote for him. I am neither liberal nor conservative at this point in my life. I am mixed politically. That means that I agree with the liberals on some issues and with the conservatives on other issues.
I am extremely pro-life. I want to see Roe v. Wade overturned.

As I understand it, Huckabee is a compassionate conservative. This means he is likely to have the good qualities of the sixties liberals, civil rights, racial equality, caring for the poor, etc. At the same time, he is conservative on the social issues, like abortion. Sounds good to me. I’m voting for him. I hope that he gets the nomination. If he doesn’t, I can still vote for him as a write in candidate.
