Jeri Thompson on The Factor

Via Bryan Preston:

What she has to say is interesting, but…I can’t help but say…she gets my vote for the best looking First lady candidate.

    The most specific immigration policy

Are you kidding me? Isn’t that the same vague “policy” that I ridiculed just a couple days ago? I just doublechecked his site to be sure and I still don’t see anything. Did he announce some sort of comprehensive plan recently?

Honestly, this interview was nothing more than a free 5 minute commercial designed to pump up Fred and counteract his wife’s image as a trophy wife. The interviewer just tossed out a few softballs and gave Jeri plenty of time to hit all of her talking points.

The moral of the story here is that you can write all the FEC regulations* you want, but they won’t do a lick of good as long as large media companies dole out free face-time to favored candidates without any concern for substance.

*I don’t advocate FEC regulations. I think they are largely useless band-aids.

P.S. I prefer Mrs. Kucinich, but you’re certainly right if you’re factoring in electability.
