It would be more informative if we had a list of those who voted for or against the bill as some Democrats probably voted against it and some Republicans voted for it.

I have a neighbor who recently supported one of the trees in his yard by feeding it to a wood chipper. Not good for the tree or the yard, either, IMO.

Look past GOP talking points for a moment and you’ll see the Democrats’ bill wasn’t the only one the Senate rejected: War Bills From Both Parties Fail in Senate

That story also puts things in a less-hysterical perspective: “The Pentagon confirms the military will not run out of money until mid February . . .”
