Long Road ouf of Eden is Wonderful. And it is wonderful for exactly many of the things that you have reported. It addresses many of the ills that exist in this Country and that the MAJORITY of its citizens believe is important. This Country is strong and can take criticisms. That is how we re-direct misdirections. And God only knows we need re-direction right now. It seems funny that someone needs to have interpretations by some one else to learn that they do not like an album. Wonder what happened to Free-thinking in this Country. Country Music has shown how gullible that they can be by swallowing what this administration says hook line and sinker. I don't blame anyone for trying to make some quick bucks off these folks who seem incapable of reading and thinking for themselves. The bottom line is that the CD is exceptional and pure Eagles.

Unfortunately, I spent my $12 bucks before your review came out. I had it playing in the background, so I didn't pay attention to any lyrics, but...I was utterly disappointed with the music itself. Like you said, it sounded very commericialized, stale, and unoriginal. Very much a sold out sound.
