The way I see this is that it is a God v Money. I chose to follow God and therefore social values are more important to me that economic ones. I understand others worship Money and I will ally with them and help them achieve their goals if they will help me achieve mine. Rudy does not so I have no loyalty to him and certainly not to his false God.

Dr. Dobson doesn’t rate being demonized. He is one of the two men I most admire in this world (my father being first). He is Christ-based and Christian-principled. I, too, am pro-life to the bone. But I differ with Dr. Dobson that a wobbly Republican would somehow be worse than a clear-cut, pro-abortion Democrat. A clear-cut, strongly pro-life Republican is indeed the ideal — and that is, I think, what Dr. Dobson is pushing on the Republican Party to choose — but if that doesn’t happen are we to shoo in the exact opposite by voting for a no-chance third-party candidate or by not voting at all?

Let us not divide-and-conquer ourselves. Nor demonize our principled allies.

If thats what it comes down to, I probably wonâ€™t vote. …a third party candidate is pretty much out of the question.

Why? If you stay home, it goes down in the scorebook as “apathy”. You’re not apathetic. Voting for a third-party is like voting “Present” in congress. It says “I’m here and I’m willing to vote, if only you’ll present me with some real options.”

Rudy may not be perfect for his movement, but its completely childish behavior to demand he get his way or no Republican gets in.

Actually, he’s taking a long term approach, something children are specifically unable to do. He’s willing to accept some bad medicine in the short run in order to achieve his long term goals.
