But DO NOT question their patriotism! Yeah right, these traitors wouldn’t know patriotism if it hit them in the face….
“If there are to be no wars, there can be no warriors,†said Dianne Budd, one of the organizers.
“We found out a few days ago and decided to make their lives miserable,†she said, pinning up “RECRUITERS LIE, CHILDREN DIE†posters on the office windows. “We want people to know that it’s here and we want to shut them down. If people had been in there we were ready to hand out information about GI rights. We just want to speak the truth.â€

Scrawled across the doorway to my office, you wrote, “Recruiters are Traitors.†Please explain this one. How exactly am I a traitor? Was I a traitor when I joined the Marine Corps all those years ago? Is every Marine, therefore, a traitor? Was I a traitor during my two stints in Iraq? Was I a traitor when I was delivering humanitarian aid to the victims of the tsunami in Sumatra? Or do you only consider me a traitor while I am on this job? The fact is, recruitment is and always has been a part of maintaining any military organization. In fact, recruitment is a necessity of any large organization. Large corporations have employees that recruit full-time. Even you, I’m sure, must expend some effort to recruit for Code Pink. So what, exactly, is it that makes me a traitor?
And they wonder why Canada won’t let them in…

It is clear that as the “anti-war” crowd has been frustrated in their political efforts to force a surrender, they have turned on the troops. They lash out like children at the easiest target since the military is not going to fight back. It also belies the fact that right below the surface, hidden beneath the “We Support The Troops” nonsense, is a deep hatred of the military.
Has Code PinkO done ANYTHING to garner any respect, or condicted themselves in an ADULT and respectful manner?
No? Hmmm…
Just be patient…after the next “Big One” shakes down a significant part of the “City By The Bay” (i.e. Land Of Fruits & Nuts), and the ensuing chaos, looting, rioting, begins – they will all welcome the military to restore order and sanity…

No sadly it’s not. It is the face of the Democrat party as a whole.
Are these people serious?? We are the ones who VOLUNTEER to serve our country and to protect our way of life. We are the ones who VOLUNTEER to endure unimaginable pain, discomfort, and hardship in the most austere of conditions imaginable so that these people can lay safely in their beds at night. Far from the battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan, through the morning mist a bugler will get out of his warm car and send the bittersweet notes of taps across gravestones of fallen heroes as the honor guard lowers his casket into his grave. This hero’s lifeblood spilled crimson deep between the sandy bosom of hell and all his family will get will be a folded flag to remind them of his ultimate sacrifice.
But rest assured that the warrior in his grave is sleeping soundly knowing that he did his job and made a difference by defending his country and family. These people lament his sacrifice but fail to recognize that the military is a volunteer organization committed to protecting our country. Nobody forces young men or women into the military, and they certainly do not lie to these young people. I have never been so angry as I was when I read how disrespectful these people have been acting towards the very people that help protect them. Before these people continue to pass judgment try getting up and wearing the uniform of your country for one day and see how differently you think.
Your actions do nothing but make you look poorly in the eyes of the public and anger all those who gave their lives to defend you. They are shameful and despicable, and are just a slap in the face of the most honest and bravest men I have ever known. Shame on you who do nothing but call shots from the sidelines and do nothing to improve things. Shame on you for not having the courage to defend your own homes and chastise those who stood up and said they would protect yours for you. Shame on you for calling yourself Americans.

Operation Yellow Elephant, a non-partisan grass roots citizens initiative to Support Our President, hopes that all those healthy heterosexual pro-war young male college graduates, who flock to Berkeley to ‘defend’ the USMC Officer Selection Office, will also go inside, meet Capt. Lund, and seriously consider volunteering for military service.
We thank Code Pink for supporting military service by bringing eligible-to-serve war supporters into closer proximity to military recruiting offices than they ever have been.
