Alito’s concurrence takes some of the sting out of what could have been really dangerous, but all this ruling has done is muddied the water even more in what was already a muck pond.

I think Justice Thomas was right when he wrote (paraphrased” the “students have First Amendment rights except when they don’t.” That was about all I liked about Thomas’ concurrence, but it sums up where we are.
